1. General Policy
Walkout Tech is dedicated to making customers happy and adhering to the Consumer Protection Law No. 8 of 2008 of the State of Qatar. Customers can claim refunds or exchanges in line with Qatari law for defective, non-conforming, or wrongly supplied digital or tangible products.
2. Eligibility for Refund or Exchange
Refunds or exchanges will be made under the conditions below:
- The service provided or product is defective, damaged, or misrepresented.
- The project provided or service fails to meet the technical specifications of the contract agreed upon.
- The service has not yet been delivered, and cancellation is requested within the first 14 days after purchase or signing.
- The product or service breaches the agreed schedule or contractual quality thresholds.
For digital services (like web design, online marketing, or software coding), refunds will only be granted if no substantial part of the work has been delivered to the client.
3. Non-Refundable Items and Services
The below are not refundable according to this policy:
- Delivered or partially completed digital services (like live sites, software codes, SEO campaigns).
- Services tailored as per client-specific demands after approval.
- Domain registrations, hosting charges, or third-party licensing fees.
4. Refund Timeframe
Following Qatar’s e-commerce and consumer protection regulations, a customer can ask for a refund within 14 calendar days after the purchase date or beginning date of service, if no work has started or deliverables have not been exchanged.
5. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be made through the same payment method as the purchase (credit card, bank transfer, or cash). Refund processing times are usually 7–14 business days based on bank processing schedules and payment gateway policies.
6. Refund Request Process
For customers to start a refund or exchange:
- Contact Walkout Tech at support@walkouttech.com with proof of purchase or contract reference.
- State explicitly the reason for the request and, if necessary, attach documentation or screenshots of the problem.
- Wait for confirmation of eligibility assessment, to be undertaken within 5 business days.
7. Cancellation Policy (Pre-Service)
- If a client would like to cancel a project prior to commencement, a full refund will be made.
- If the project has commenced partially, a proportionate amount based on work done will be withheld prior to refunding the balance.
8. Legal Compliance
This policy has been drafted in accordance with:
- Qatar Consumer Protection Law No. (8) of 2008
- MOCI Circular No. (3) of 2016
- Qatar eCommerce and Online Business Regulations
Walkout Tech shall have the right to revise this policy to keep it in line with Qatar’s changing consumer protection guidelines.
